Many users run into minor issues the first time they try to log in to Jilebat. In most cases, the fix is straightforward. This section covers everything you need to know about the login process.
Log In with Mobile Number
You'll need to log in with the mobile number you used when registering with Jilebat. You can enter it starting with +880 or with 01 — the system will recognize it either way.
Enter your mobile number without any spaces or dashes — digits only. For example: 01712345678 or +8801712345678. Both formats work.
Why Use OTP Login
If you can't remember your password or want to log in quickly from a new device, OTP login is the most convenient option. Just enter your mobile number, receive the OTP, enter the 6-digit code — and you're in. No password required.
OTPs typically arrive within 10 to 30 seconds. If yours hasn't come through, wait 1–2 minutes — network delays can occasionally cause a slight hold-up. If it still hasn't arrived, tap the "Resend" button.
Logging in is even easier on the app
Once you log in to the Jilebat mobile app, you won't need to enter your password again. The app supports Touch ID and Face ID — you can get in just like unlocking your phone. To download the app, the App page Go.
What to Do If You Notice a Suspicious Login
If you ever suspect someone else has accessed your account, change your password immediately and contact the support team. Jilebat can terminate active sessions instantly. Any unauthorised transactions on your account will be investigated.
Check your account's login history regularly — go to Settings and look for "Login Activity". If you spot an unfamiliar device or location, contact support immediately.
About Session Timeout
For your security, Jilebat automatically logs you out after a period of inactivity. It may feel inconvenient, but it's there to protect your account — especially useful on shared or public devices.
Turning on the "Remember Me" option on your device keeps your session active much longer — no need to enter your password every time you log in.
Multiple Accounts Are Not Allowed
No individual is permitted to hold more than one Jilebat account. Running two accounts from the same mobile number or the same device puts both accounts at risk of being closed. If you already have an existing account, log in to that one rather than creating a new one — support will be happy to help.
